Here's my tip to save money during the holidays:
I love gift baskets, they are fun and flexible! I pick up samples and free items year round and make different baskets out of them. You can get these by signing up for newsletters, ordering them through the manufactures' websites, or in stores. I keep a "gift box' going year round with a list of items in it and who it may be good for.
If you keep a small notebook handy (in your purse or car) and you hear a loved one mention something they like or would like to have, write it down. When you run across it on sale, pick it up!
