I will praise God's name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.
~Psalm 69:30
Can you believe Thanksgiving Day is only one week away? This year as flown faster than any other I can remember. (Does that mean I'm getting old? Oh, wait, I am getting old.... )
Anyway, I probably won't post Thankful Thursday next week, as most of the USA will be celebrating with family and friends. What are your plans? We will be having dinner with the Worship Leader and her family. I'm very excited. I'm also very sad, because I won't be with my mom or my boys. I miss them SO much! Anyway, on to this week's list....
- I am thankful that I am a child of The King. Without Jesus, my life would mean nothing. Because of His sacrifice, I am alive!
- I am thankful for my husband. God brought him to me after many painful, lonely years. I try to remember to thank God for Eddie each day. I cannot tell you what it means to have a husband that truly loves God and myself (in that order) with all his heart.
- I'm thankful for the Internet. Without this world wide web, I would not have met so many loving, caring, uplifting people in our world. Anytime I need uplifting, or help with Sunday School lessons, or just a smile, all I have to do it open a tab on my computer.
- I am thankful for two of my special online friends whom let me live vicariously through them. Without Gidge and Moon, my life would be less joyful, I love you both!

What a great list of blessings! And I love that Scripture.
Hi, Sherrylinn:
Thank you for stopping by today and praying for my son-in-law who is also in the Navy. Sorry your son can't be with you for the holiday; our daughter was living in R.I. last year, but is only a state away now and will visit with our new baby granddaughter. God bless & keep you!
Mary
Love your great list of blessings! We are truly blessed through Him!
Blessings to you dear.
What a beautiful list!
I too know the feeling of God's second chances in life and will never be able to thank Him enough for my husband!
Have a blessed weekend and holiday!
In His amazing grace,
Jill
I know, this year has flown! Still not sure if hubby will get Thanksgiving off or not. Hoping so but since it's an American holiday it's hard to say. Planning to make dinner & have the in-laws over. Subject them to American food. ;)
Love your list. You & Gidge make such a huge difference in my life. My dearest friends live in my computer. :)
Thank you for your prayer and comment on my blog!
Christy
Thanks for the thoughtful post. I too am thankful for the internet. For all of the bad on it, there's a lot of good to counteract it.
