Then Sings My Soul - Mary Did You Know?

I'm sorry this is a day late. Yesterday was SO busy, we were gone from 11:00 AM until almost 10:00 PM getting things done at church for a special guest we had today, and then over to met our future daughter-in-law's parents. (well, I had met them the day A picked out the bridesmaids' dresses, but Eddie had not met them yet). We had a wonderful dinner and then watched the movie "Elf" with them, which neither Eddie or I had seen before. (what can I say, we don't get out much!) I must say, even though I'm not a huge Will Ferrell fan, it is a must see!

Anyway, as you can tell, I'm getting in the Christmas Spirit - the true spirit - that is celebrating the birth of my Lord and Savior - Jesus Christ. Every time I hear this song, tears just fall. I can't imagine what it must have been like to raise the Son of God Almighty! Please take some time to reflect the true meaning of this season. It's not gifts, it's not dinner, it's the birth of our Savior. I believe this is a time to help out those less fortunate than our selves and show the love of Christ to all.

Blessings Sherrylinn...better late than not at all to begin the season right with the perfect message! I have always love this song...and I cannot imagine what it must have been like for a young mother to hold such an honor and have such an obedient heart & spirit! Nor the pain when she had to watch Him give His life for us! My arms were raised in praise as my tears began to fall...Thank you for sharing this awesome song with Clay singing it! His voice is such a delight! May this just be the beginning of a blessed time of the year for you & your loved ones! Thanks for your visit!

I've loved that song since the first time I heard it. Next to "Oh Holy Night" it's my favorite Christmas song.

Isn't Elf good? I was reluctant to see it (looked dumb lol) but really enjoyed it.

Sending *hugs* your way! Hope your day is a wonderful one!!

This is one of my fav Christmas songs! I love it! What must Mary have thought? I love Luke 2:19, "But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart." Precious.

Thanks for sharing!
I hope you have a great week!
